MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH & PHILOSOPHY

I take an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, and trauma-informed frameworks. My work is flexible and tailored to your individual needs, values, and cultural context.

I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring expertise in your own experiences, and I offer clinical guidance and a supportive space to explore, reflect, and develop strategies that support your wellbeing.

Cultural humility underpins my practice. I recognise that seeking support can feel complex, particularly for those from culturally diverse backgrounds. I aim to create a space where your cultural identity, relationships, and lived experiences are understood and respected, so that therapy feels relevant, safe, and aligned with who you are.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a woman of South Asian heritage, with my family roots tracing back to Kerala, India. Having grown up across both Australia and Brunei, I understand firsthand the beautiful complexities of navigating multiple cultural identities, as well as the unique challenges that can accompany them.

These lived experiences deeply inform my therapeutic approach. They allow me to connect authentically with clients who are exploring their own cultural identity, navigating intergenerational dynamics, or seeking a stronger sense of belonging. I strive to provide a space where all parts of your story are welcomed and validated.
