REFERRALS
GP referrals under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) are accepted, with eligible clients able to access Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Referrals are also welcomed from psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and allied health professionals.
Clients are welcome to self-refer directly, and a Mental Health Treatment Plan is not required to book an initial appointment.
For referral enquiries or to discuss a potential client, please get in touch via email. Referrals are typically responded to within 2 to 3 business days.

FEES & REBATES
Fees
The standard fee for a 50-minute session is
$264
The after-hours fee for a 50-minute session incurs an additional $30. This fee will apply for sessions scheduled before 9am and after 5pm.
Cancellation policy
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me to offer the time to another client who may be waiting for an appointment.
Cancellations within 24 to 48 hours incur 50% of the session fee, and cancellations within 24 hours or non-attendance incur the full session fee.
I understand that emergencies happen and will consider individual circumstances.
Payment is due on the day of your appointment. You can pay using credit or debit card.
Payment methods
Medicare rebates
With a referral and mental health care plan, Medicare will rebate $145.25 per session, for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year.
Private health insurance
You may be eligible for a partial rebate through your private health insurance. It's advisable to reach out to your insurance provider to see if your policy includes extras for psychological counselling. Please note that rebates from private health insurance cannot be claimed for sessions where a Medicare rebate is sought.

♛ Pay the full session fee at the time of your appointment
♛ Process your Medicare rebate claim, and the rebate will be deposited directly into your nominated bank account.
Making therapy accessible
Financial constraints should not be a barrier to accessing quality, culturally attuned mental health support. Discussing financial concerns is a normal, completely supported part of the therapy process.
Sliding scale fees
I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments where fees can be adjusted based on your individual financial circumstances. This is prioritised for students, concession card holders, and those experiencing temporary financial hardship.
Payment plans
If paying the full session fee upfront is challenging, I can arrange flexible, confidential payment plans. This allows you to spread the cost of your therapy over time in a way that is manageable for your budget.
